Title: Jason & his 'bubbles'
Post by: Silent bob on May 02, 2013, 05:56:01 PM
Some of my Argonauts for a 'Jason' game - my wife is currently collecting and painting various beasties and baddies.

Fantastic temple. What paints did you use?

Fantastic temple. What paints did you use?

For the temple, I used a Wilko's tester pot of matt emulsion, I forget what it was called - it had some silly name (mocha or coffee at midnight or dusky maiden) and some of the kids white poster paint to highlight it (the poster paint is quite thin and runny).

A spray coat of gloss varnish and one of matt + tufts.

That was it actually -  nothing over compex.

I tend to use a lot of tester pots for my terrain.

Cheers

Always liked the Foundry Argo collection and you've done a great job on them.
