Now that all the furore has subsided, and I have had time to sift through the hundreds of photos taken by Hong Kong Bill, I have got around to producing our pictorial report of our expedition into the depth of the Excel Centre.
You may find the chronicle here: http://inhermajestysname.wordpress.com/2013/05/05/ihmn-at-salute-2013/

Looks like a great setup and sounds like a very fun convention :)

The boy Conor, myself resplendent in slimming stripes, and Dean*
*Who was at this point suffering rather badly from the celebrations of the night before and probably did smile occasionaly even if the picture wouldn't imply any chance of such a thing happening.

It was an inspirational display indeed Craig and a cracking advert for the rules and figures - my only disappointment was that I couldn't hang around long enough to join in a game. Mind you, all my fire would have been concentrated upwards towards Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang - I hate that film... :)

Indeed Norman. I managed two quick games and I played Scotland Yard in both. I put a couple of Special Branch men, armed with carbines, on a roof and still didn't have the range to blow that damnable anachronism from the sky!
Btw in both games the boy Conor, playing Lord Curr and his Incorrigibles, kicked my ass. Never underestimate the power of Mohan Singh, with his Vickers Gun, on a rooftop.
