Title: Round 5?...10?

I'm about half way thru my top-secret Round 5 entry...to say more could prove fatal. Even my serial number may not be my real serial number... :|

Mainly wondering how the rest of you fellows are dooing and when we find out what the theme for Round 10 will be...

Round 5 is driving me nuts. Its way off my normal area of interest and I struggled quite a bit to come up with something. My entry in this round (3) is very weak, its some very old stuff not helped by my point, click, that will do approach to photography.

I am certain rd 10 is going to be another curve ball, not much chance of it being Somali Askaris or something else I have on the painting table, so the earlier the heads up the better for me.

My problem with round 5 is that I don't have a doctor type. Assistants and Monsters are no problem, but I have to think aboput what to use as the main character.

Mine is the oposite. :-) i have about 10 doctors and assistants nor monsters.

I am actually painting something brand new for round 5 which I hope to complete in time.  It is like nothing I have painted before - I can say no more!

I'm just wondering about the "This is new" bonus points in a Bonus Point round.  For example, if the whole "squad" has never been seen before, does the painter still receive the "New" bonus in round 5 in addition to the Mad Science bonus?  Or, if someone has a single figure that has been seen before, but has four or more never seen before and photos together, do they get a bonus?

Honestly, just curious.  Don't want to stimulate too much debate in what is, for me, just a great fun competition.   :)

yes, of course, so you could get a total of 30 Bonus Points in the Round 5.

no if "four new and an old one"
yes if "five new and an old one"

five new ones have to be :)

Haven't even started with Round 5, still have to complete my Round 4 entry. Had to recover from the 'almost fatal blow' by Grimm  :roll:
But I am very optimistic to pull something off next week. All needed minis should arrive today. So let the beatings begin :-)
