Hello,
I would like to know if someone know or use this product "quick shade".
http://www.thearmypainter.com/
It's look very interesting for people like me who have very time to paint in a week. Particulary for painting those winter finnish in white dress.
best regards
patrick

It is handy if you are in a hurry to finish a project or if you have a lot of rank'n file miniatures to paint.
I personally have no use for it. I think it turns out too blotchy, as a rule, and I rather take the time layer painting all my miniatures.

I never used it myself, but I have seen some very stunning results. It requires some practice to get right, though, I think (right amount of thinner, how much of the excess must be shaken off, etc..)

The budget-minded can acheive the same effect through simple paint washes followed by varnishing. You will never win awards this way, but you can field large armies that don't look too bad in record time.
You can also vastly improve the results by going back over and doing some simple highlighting with the base colors.
