Cracking work Thargor! Though those little chaps are a bit scary ;D
-
The basing on both of these is cracking. Those are the neatest little figures and have a peculiar charm to them.
Now that tartan is so well painted and I rather like the figure who has his sword up and behind him. Such a dynamic pose. Beautiful work here today.
-
Definatly like these Relic figures (nice one Thargor), and are there any more pics of your ECW figs on the net Blackwolf?
-
I second OLeary. The basing is amazing on both.
And the puppets are the stuff of nightmares.
Great atmosphere for the Clearance vignette.
-
Love the relics, probably have to pick some up myself. Great job on the tartans!
-
Nicely staged scene as usual, Blackwolf, but I can't see much of your painting, unfortunately ...
Great Britanans, Thargor, very witty miniatures.
-
I don't know what those little things are Thargor, but they'll certainly a little disturbing :)
Fabulous composition Guy. I'm not a great fan of those Warlord figures, but they look pretty darn good here. The plaid is wonderful :-*
-
Agreed....I only wish I could paint tartans like that. Gorgeous! And the detail on the Britanans is great, too - love the wood grain on the musket!

Thanks everyone :)
Steam Flunkey, these are my only ECW on the net,I do however have an full Montrose army(Old Glory figures) that I painted when I first got back into the hobby, they don't bare photographing lol
Richard, yes I know, they are very 'heroic'. They seemed to take me forever to paint.
Admiral Benbow,I really struggled with this round, close ups,if I wanted to get all ten figures into the scene were just not going to happen. I could have just done two lineups of the figures, however that's not what I wanted to do; I was re-creating a scene from the battle of Auldearn. If you want some close ups I'm sure that could be arranged at the end of the round.
Cheers
Guy

Love both of these!
The tartans are amazing, I have these models but am scared of tackling the tartan!
-
Thanks guys. I'll bow to the master in this round. Beautiful work there Blackwolf.
-
Both are superb entries, very nice PJ's on details and entertaining figures. Well done gentlemen. Those are going in my folder of awesome PJ's for inspiration.
-
two bad that these two masterpieces must compete !
Congratulations to two great entries !
