Title: Bases for SAGA....Your recomendations.
Post by: Mason on May 18, 2013, 01:02:28 AM
I am looking for some skirmish bases/movement trays for LotR SAGA.

What or who would you recomend?

(I intend basing individual figures on pennies, and tuppences only if needs be, as I want to be able to use the same figures for Oldhammer if possible...)

Warbases!

They have both regular and odd-shaped skirmish trays, some of which are cut out exactly for coin bases (they even have a disclaimer on their site to the effect that any defacing of currency is conducted at your own risk!).

I think they even do custom trays too if there's something specific you're after.

I have a bunch of the warbases trays for my SAGA stuff, and they are very nice.  I have noticed that they changed their overseas postage rates from 'ridiculous' to 'normal' so I would wholeheartedly endorse their product. That was my only sticking point with them before...

Paul war bases are good I ve been using for my FIW and pirate games. Figures are all based on 25mm washers.

Steel washers are dirt cheap on Internet less than a third of the price you pay at b&q
