For a couple of days, I've been building myself a new space hulk using Guncrawl tiles and black foam board. Today, I took what I've made so far and gave it a quick test-drive. The Daleks have attacked, and a squad of the 109th Inquisitorial Regiment rush the General to the transporter to get him safely down to the planet below:

Great looking stuff! :-*

Now that looks like fun. I might just have a use for those Daleks I painted up recently.

Very nice!

Cool. The daleks seem quite tough in that post.

That's a nice coinkydink, just been talking about using Daleks in Space Hulk on Frothers. Great looking setup.

Thanks guys! The Dalek's are quite tough. Since the troopers were on a small ship, the couldn't risk using any heavy weapons, and I think we can all agree, small arms aren't that effective against Dalek armour.

I have a homebrew ruleset ('Rogue Trooper versus the Daleks') that lets troopers knock out Daleks on a freak shot - essentially it's an eyestalk thing.
Otherwise, yeah, Dalek armour has to be pretty much impenetrable.
Lovely-looking game there! I heartily approve.

Great idea fantastic blog. Good to see Dr Who characters without the Doc.
