more painting :o Pulp Alley has inspired me to a painting frenzy
Anyway let me introduce you to the latest league fighting the keep the occult power of Ancient Egyptian Artifacts out of the hands of the Nazi War machine.
Captain Kit has requested the PSD ( the American Army's Paranormal Science Division) form a special Commando Unit of hand picked, plucky Brits to counter the growing presence of the Afrika Korps in the deserts of North Africa.
A group line up

Lieutenant Tam Stewart is Kit's trusted 2IC - he plays the Thomson like a concert pianist, all the right notes in all the right places.
Behind them stand the McGregor twins. When they're not on patrol they're in jail and there is nothing they relish more than a good scrap. Either on patrol, or not.
Then come the rest of the team - Ben Doon, Drew Campbell and Hamish McCloud - ready for anything. Who Dares Wins!
Here is the roster

Excellent, Paul! It's cool to see that Stevens will have some new colleagues to lead into battle. Are you going to replace him in the other roster or have him move between the two units?
Some really nice brush work on those commandos!
Stewart's Tommy-gun is going to be feared. Saving up 3 XP to and adding Marksman or Sharp would be really handy!
Oh, the Perilous Island book is going to add some more burst-template abilities that would also work great for smg's.
THANKS

Nice work
And I know what you mean about being inspired to paint by PA

nice team, and "the PSD ( the American Army's Paranormal Science Division)" is really good :D

re you going to replace him in the other roster or have him move between the two units?
He will flit between
I am playing around building several leagues and playing one off scenarios at the moment to see what works and is fun (everything so far). Those I like I will use in a campaign (long term goal) set in the pre WW2/WW2 type period.
This is planned be an Indiana Jones films 1 and 3 type thing. There is so much iconic stuff you can build in.
I have some other more eclectic types I can add in already (once painted) - Ngoni tribesmen and Ansar for local colour, Foreign Legion, Gents and Ladies in civvies as spies and agents and a few adventurer types - and some mummies, zombies and werewolves of course.
Just need to buy a Leather Trench Coat type for the really nasty villain and some Egyptians in Fez for their local lackeys.
My plans didn't stop me buying Chinese Warlord types (1916 to 1928) though ......... but I can have a few adventures in Asia too - all I need is to buy some Japanese and some Russians and then some Yetis for geographically local opposition.
and then of course there are the dinosaurs I have been buying randomly just in case :P

How did you generate the roster to print?

How did you generate the roster to print?
The roster is a neat fillable pdf with drop down boxes with all the skill sets
You can find it in the files section of the yahoo group here
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/pulpalley/ (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/pulpalley/)
It allows you to play around with league ideas very quickly and save the completed form for later use or print out the roster to use during a game.

Thank you.
I'll have to join the yahoo group now.

If anyone has trouble signing up for the Pulp Alley yahoo group, just PM me (inlcude your email) and I'll send you an invite.
There are lots of cool files on the yahoo group. In addition to the new fillable rosters and vehicle rules, we also share some playtest rules for some of our projects.
HAVE FUN
