Guys, I have finally got around to photographing my Dux Brit village bits all together. The three small pieces I posted about recently (barn, pig sty and granary), plus the hedges and the sub-Roman houses I built a while back.

The sub-Roman elite companion warrior (one of Arthur's "knights") is from West Wind, and the Pict is from Gripping Beast.

Very nice settlement you've got going on there, I like that a lot.

Thanks! It was fun building it, and I hope as soon as I can get two complete armies together, it's going to be as much fun to game with.

28mm, Mitch?

Brilliant way to make buildings. Pack some foam and cut away. I'm going to try that method instead of my "old skool" foamboard walls method. Thanks for posting here and Keep blogging!

Poiteter50, yes, 28mm all the way!
Hollander, thanks!
I'm hoping to get a couple of new posts on a new project out shortly, but this weekend is solidly booked with painting my daughter's bedroom, rather than painting minis!

Very nice looking village, great work on all of the buildings. Need to drop by your log later and get some inspiration. Any more specific buildings planned for the village?

pocoloco,
A sub-Roman church...

Great stuff, Mitch.
That place looks just the ticket for some Dark Age shenanigans!

Very nice looking village - excellent work

Looks great all put together. Color scheme is perfect!
My village pieces saw the tabletop this past weekend. I have one more Acheson Creations building to do, then it'll be miscellaneous bits. The first of those will be the church graveyard...
