Bet he's single

He's a 32-man team so not exactly single. :D

But it's a lego model of a lego model. Should we start making 1:1 buildings from balsa and plasticard with huge glue blobs and brush strokes? :o

In the story, its stated that it the worlds largest lego model...
Surely the full size house that James May on the BBC was bigger and used FAR more bricks?

Anybody else remember seeing that?

Some years ago while out walking, my Wife and I were coming home alongside the M5 motorway and as I looked over I saw a huge transporter with a life-size X-Wing on the trailer. It was placed on an angle (45') so the wings would not foul the other traffic.

As luck would have it I did have my camera - but it was travelling too fast for me to take an image.

Why do I have such a stupid normal job and am not a LEGO designer?

And they started making this after seeing "a new hope" at the world premier?  lol
Oh... Why did they make it look like it is made out of Lego with the knobby bits on top?

Believe that was answered previously; do watch the used letter board.

Having a maniac for a grandson, I understand the whole 'lego-accurate' mentality. Sidney oft leaves me just shaking my head...

[Edit} But then, what eight year old doesn't?  lol

There was one at the 30th celebration event at London Excel in 2007. Could have been the same one?
