Well the very first that come to mind are Prof. Witchheimer's....

I also plan to use Perry's "ACW 70 American Civil War Zouaves" along with the good Professor's minis.

There are 42 in a box so that will be a nice force to start with. They will need weapons modifications and perhaps something else. But it is a nice start.

Although out of period I would go with some proper Janissaries etc. from perhaps the TAG range and sci-fi them up a bit. Would make for a very colourful and varied looking force.

I've been putting together my at Turk VSF group over the last few years (slowly). It's a mix of regular troops, some VSF specific-things and a bit of imagination and hacks. Here's my suggestions:
- Outpost Russo-Turkish war infantry -- http://www.outpostwargameservices.co.uk/ (http://www.outpostwargameservices.co.uk/)
- Perry Bashi Bazouks http://www.perry-miniatures.com/product_info.php?products_id=2429 (http://www.perry-miniatures.com/product_info.php?products_id=2429)
- Ironclad Martians Warriors (as Bashi's) http://www.ironcladminiatures.co.uk/shop/system/detailimage?sessid=JViCma1W0zUoznKuWX2vm1c7q8GxIVjqP0lB04nGYWG01bDjgsIJqhgBEl2h4lEy&shop_param=cid%3D34%26aid%3DMAR01%26position%3Dposition1%26 (http://www.ironcladminiatures.co.uk/shop/system/detailimage?sessid=JViCma1W0zUoznKuWX2vm1c7q8GxIVjqP0lB04nGYWG01bDjgsIJqhgBEl2h4lEy&shop_param=cid%3D34%26aid%3DMAR01%26position%3Dposition1%26)
- Eureka Flying Monkeys (just because) http://www.eurekaminusa.com/catalog.aspx?c=Winged%20Fez%20Monky&cid=14&pageIndex=0 (http://www.eurekaminusa.com/catalog.aspx?c=Winged%20Fez%20Monky&cid=14&pageIndex=0)
Lead Adventure Steampunk Turks (already mentioned)
Mage Knight Whirling Golem (modified to be robo-jannisaries) http://www.trollandtoad.com/p103985.html (http://www.trollandtoad.com/p103985.html)
[/list]
Vehicles are the challenge since it's hard enough to find steam vehicles let alone ones that have an "orientalist" flair. I wound up bashing a steam powered gun by combining the front of a Dark Eldar Skiff with an Airfix Stephenson's Rocket model. It's pretty much a one off so I'm still looking for other things I could use there.
Bad pics of most of these can be seen in this old thread: http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1414;sa=showPosts;start=30 (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1414;sa=showPosts;start=30)

Warrior Miniatures have a few Turkish troops in heavy kit which would be good for elite troops.

OK, I have a first draft of an Ottoman Imperial Intelligence List which I shall pass to Charles for verification.

I've got a VSF army for Martian Empires. We play in 28mm. I'm using a mix of the Ironclad Martians and the LAF Ottomans. Gringo 40's 28mm Egyptians would work well I think.
I did a couple of flying carpets with sterling engines and a big walker from a LotR Mumak.
