Title: Beast from the woods conversion.

What do you think?

Granted there are some really great painters around. However I like painting minis a lot so its fun to paint something that is relatively easy to get a good result on like fur and monster skin.
The original mini is a heroclix guy called Ursus.

Heroclix are a good cheap way to get minitures for kit bashing and conversions for mutants and monsters.

Seriously when looking at what you started with, you're selling yourself short. Nice work all round, from conception, through converting to painting.

The only thing I'd consider is perhaps darkening the talons, as the white looks a little too bright/clean, but perfectly acceptable as it is.

Sort of has a bit of a headbanger longhair look, in a good way.
