The show was pretty decent...not great, but decent.  I did like his character and this mini is great (as is the paintjob!).

Seriously well done.
That much black would be daunting to me.

Yes, the down side to seeing such a lovely painted figure is that I did the same and will now be chasing up a copy as it does sound rather good.

Last time I checked Hell on Wheels was on Netflix - that's where I watched it.  They dump programs so often I can't be sure if it's still there.

Me as a railway enthusiast was very interested in it and must say that it was a great show. All inspiring for many an old west game. However the railway as such was well dominated by the story, wich was a good one though. I liked it loads, but I can“t see yet what a sequel will have to do with the railway if Cullen Bohannon (and Elam Ferguson) will stay the main character(s) of the plot.
Highly recommended to watch!

Lovely work! That does indeed look like Mr Bohannen.  Looking forward to your representation of his sidekick's tattooed prostitute friend.

The series "Hell on Wheels" started here in the U.K. on Tuesday evening on ITV4 at 10:00pm and there's a repeat on Friday night at 11:00pm.  I've just watched it and it looks like it has great potential.

Great likeness of Cullen. I have the Brigade Games one and I will be getting the lawman posse from Great Escape Games as this set includes a model with a great likeness of Cullen Bohannon. I've seen all of season 1 and 2, and I can't wait for season 3.

Really enjoyed the first series of Hell on Wheels, eagerly waiting for the second to be released on Love Film.

He's one of the lawman posse members. A great set, mine arrived this week and I'm really pleased with them.

Gut how do they scale with other minis?  Pics if you get a chance.
Title: Re: Cullen Bohannon
Post by: Gutbukkit on 15 June 2013, 08:55:49 PM
I haven't compared them with any others yet but I'll get a scale shot done Monday when I'm back home. I recklessly mix Black Scorpion, Artizan, Foundry (newer) and Brigade Games so not such an issue for me, but I know it is for others. I did a scale shot with all the afore mentioned companies miniatures before so it's about time I did an update with some GEG Dead Mans Hand minis.

Their website isn't very easy but I got this link off Dave Woodward, thanks Dave  :)

Click on the pics and it'll show up the figures, mostly they look pretty good.
Easily on par with Artizan I recon.

Ours are 28mm, the same size as Artizan and later Foundry. Black Scorpion are 32mm.

I love my Black Scorpion collection, and would no trade them for the world.  I do wish though that someone else made figures as good as "Cullen Bohannon" in a size and style to match them.
