Title: Heating Resin??
Post by: NickNascati on 04 June 2013, 11:25:13 PM
All,
This may be a crazy question, but here goes.  I am thinking about trying to turn a couple of the Black Scorpion foot figures into mounted by heating their legs with a match and then sitting them on a horse.  What do you think?

Lie down in a dark room until the notion passes.

Won't work. If you want to bend resin you'll be better off using boiling water, however I suspect the legs will be too resilient and thick in the places you want to bend. An old school conversion cutting the legs and green stuffing the joins would probably be better and easy cuts with resin.
