I have just completed these for thebinmann:

He asked me to do the gargoyles as living creatures that were slowly petrifying, so I opted for a lot of greyish skintones. The guy in the amour is at the beginning of his transformation, so still has one half of his face as normal flesh...

Adam likes them, but what do you think...?

Sorry; the mental fog has yet to lift...all higher mental functions are shut down. The minis must be REALLY GOOD, however, as I note some puddles of drool forming around the keyboard.
The transmutation from flesh to stone is an EXCELLENT idea & you did a FINE job with it.
AND the Beasty Boys on the bottom are SPLENDID! You've really out done yourself on them all. VERY WELL DONE!

Stunning work, Bob!
 :-* :-* :-*

I bet Adam is pleased as punch.

I was going to ask where they were from, as until you mentioned it I couldnt place them.
Gargoyles!
Never seen them painted this way.
They look much better like that.
Genius!

Now I want some myself.
Not the time to start yet another idea off, though.

Bob, they are amazing and exactly what I wanted! The conversion on the thug is top class and the BeastieBoyz are great too.

Nice job Rob, and a fine selection of minis!

I almost traded with Adam for those gargoyles of Barda, but now I'm glad I didn't! They would still languish unpainted.

Thanks chaps, most kind.  :)

I actually liked it so much that Adam very kindly tracked down another one for me. Lovely to paint, such an expressive face.
