Title: One Thing Led To Another.
Post by: Prof. Dinglebat. Phd. on 11 June 2013, 07:25:54 AM
Sitting here with an afternoon to spare I read Wolf Girl's and d phipps great blog titled 'New Buildings -- Pulp Alley Dungeon Crawl' and was informed on a product called 'Hirst moulds' on page 13, which was used to make dungeon blocks.

Well one thing led to another and I ended up here....

Then here....

and a whole new world opened up,.... so thank you for the head's up.

Soon I plan to do a topic on all the various things I've purchased since having been on this site thanks to 'heads up' from other's bolgs.  ;)

Be warned - Hirst Arts molds are addictive! You'll find you can't stop at just one.  ;)

But yes, they're very useful. I found Cavern Accessory Mold #85 extremely so for making street clutter, adventure targets, barricades, and so on.

Thanks guys for welcomeing me to the madness  ;D and going by the mold forums on the Hirst site you have to mention and list the numbers of the molds you own after your message.  lol

Molds owned (so far) 290, 291, 292, 295.

I'm an addict, Hirst molds are one of my favorite things. I think I used at least one Hirst part in half my LPL entries this year.

I'm in the category of people that cast just to do it, with no idea why... no project in mind, just cast after cast.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

It certainly has that Lego Effect of which have confessed to succumbing to in other posts.
