That would be cool! I always thought that Sam would make a great Doctor's assistant and, actually, Foyle would make a great Doctor. Now I've got a brilliant crossover episode running in my head - Foyle and Sam trying to deal with a Sontaran masterplan, with Christopher Ecclestone and Rose running about in the background  8)
