I would love to see those near to the other forces of the Captain...
I just don't understand why the captain (which is a good and damn fast painter) also order custom painted pieces (well... wonderful custom painted pieces! ;) )

Who makes the Sid James (middle figure, 2nd pic)?

Who makes the Sid James (middle figure, 2nd pic)?
I dunno :? He was recruited by the good Captain who will probably answer the question next time he pops in.

Fantastic painting. :-*
They seem more vibrant than your usual style, is it to match Captain's figures more closely?
Or, I could be just imagining that :)
Time for me to send you a commission too ;)

Beautiful! Richard

Well spotted Doc, I was trying to make them a bit more to the Captain's taste.
That'd be another case of coals to Newcastle Doc lol

Ah, wonderful Chris - truly :)
I suppose I shall have to send you some money now... :'(
;)
I just don't understand why the captain (which is a good and damn fast painter) also order custom painted pieces (well... wonderful custom painted pieces! ;) )
Because I am laundering unwanted Nigerian currency...
Because I believe in supporting small businesses...
And because I wanted a bit of Bugsda quality in my collection...
(Erm, actually, because I painted about 100 of these figures, and I couldn't bring myself to finish the last 20 or so. So I thought - what the hell, I'll pay the very excellent Bugsda to finish 'em off for me).
I had to do the same thing with my ECW cavalry, which Redzed finished off for me.
I get to a certain point in a project, and I just can't summon up the enthusiasm to see it through. But I don't want the figures to go to waste. So I pay.
Who makes the Sid James (middle figure, 2nd pic)?
If it's the Henry VIII-looking figure, I can't remember. It's some bloke who's at most of the shows who carries a, er.. pretty eclectic selection of figures. I think this one is notionally a medieval merchant.

Late to this, lovely work Mr Bugsda :-*
