:-*
That is one sexy mech (as far as mech can be sexy)
-
Very cool - nice to see something relatively unique.
-
Brilliant mini with a gorgeous paint job! Great release, John!
-
Interesting, looking at this I assumed it was another re-release of a starship troopers miniatures. (marauder perhaps?) But I guess I am wrong.
I would love to have it in a bit more active pose, other then that it looks rather awesome.
-
Another amazing paint job! How tall is he?

I am guessing, to to top of "head," not including the arms, 50 (+/-) mm? Just eyeballing the (assumption) 15 mm figure in the last picture picture and guessing three plus soldiers tall.
Gracias,
Glenn

John, is it resin, metal, or a combo of the two? Thanks!
-
Looking good! i prefer the other pose but still, awesome mech! :D

Its a metal/resin jobba, legs are metal, rest is resin, i believe anyhow. May have changed.
Apologies for double post.

Hmm...clever...metal legs would give it nice balance, and a suitable table top "thump" to appease most of us...hmm.... lol

Yes, that's our basic reasoning. :-)
I think it's about 56-58mm tall to top of cockpit. It comes with a bunch of different pieces including multiple shoulder weapons (heavy antimaterial missile tubes, massed anti-personnel rockets, and the general purpose rapid fire cannons shown here) and two different arm sets so it's fairly posable.
The rationale for it is it's meant as heavy support for the SPAR teams (special ops) of the federal navy so the bipedal legged configuration is often helpful in support. This mecha, the SPAR teams, and their infantry fighting vehicle, the Cheetah, will all be released shortly.
I think it would also come in very handy as a massive robot in 28mm scale -- the same size or bigger than the CAIN robot in Robocop 2:

cool! Just about the right size for what I want to use it for :D!

No - all distribution is done by Jon himself from the U.S. (unless that's changed very recently).

The market expectation of prices for 15mm models is very low. A very large percentage of the price of a 15mm model goes into the cost of having it made, so the amount you clear on each sale is minimal. The trade discount is often more than I clear on a model.

Thats a pity because every time I've ordered from the states I've had to pay import taxes (which in it's self is ok, but having to pay the post office to pay the taxes isn't), so I generally just don't order from the states longer.
-
I order directly from Jon and have had no issues in respect to taxes or customs.

Everyone seems luckier than me on that front :(
