Greetings folks,
After a few setbacks I've managed to get back to some sculpting. These new figures make up two new sets (well one and a half at the moment).
The first is a generic group of space explorers. I know most folks will immediately think Star Trek but there is a reason for that. I initially tried a Space 1999 type costume but it looked thoroughly dull. The short flared pants looked more 60's/70's so I went with these. As for the characters: I decided on a science guy (The pic doesn't show it but he looks very much like Carl Sagan), the guy that always seems to have fist fights, a lady space guy and the shooting guy (I went for the Professor Victor Bergman - Space 1999 -for him).

These next two are the start of a set of spi-fi villains. The debonair, cocktail drinking, evil industrialist type and a tough soul sister wielding a garrote. Net to come is a sporty type villain based on Goldfinger in his dated sporting (golf) attire and I'm not sure yet but maybe Odd Job carrying a golf bag.

Hey I really like these new greens. Going to have to order some of these along with some of your other great figures. :)
-
Excellent! We were just discussing retro sci-fi today - and I can definitely see these in our Pulp Alley games. :-*
THANKS
-
Oooh! Maybe Odd Jobs golf bag coule double as a rocket launcher, mortar, or bazooka!

:-* :-* :-*
This are certainly catching my attention.
You are getting rather too good at this.
Between yourself, Crooked Dice and Copplestone, I can see some retro-spy-fi being done sooner rather than later.

Really nice!

San Francisco 60's. Do a male afro and there be 1/3rd of The Mod Squad. ;)
-
These are excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing Goldfinger and Oddjob, I might have to get into spy-fi now!

I love the amount of Character you are getting into the faces. Maybe once the millions(slightly overexagerated) from my portion of Perilous Island sales rolls in, I can put together an order with you for some of your stuff.
I love that your style married up well with Bob Murch. Very nice indeed.

Very nice, full of character. :)
-
Haha, love the last two. You can almost hear the Ron Grainer-styled theme music write itself. lol
-
Wow, I really like the two villains!

Here are a couple of new figures. I'm almost at the point of getting a whole new bunch moulded and cast.
These two intrepid time travelers were requested by my friend James (aka Hat Guy here on LAF).
Anyway, here they are:

Looking good

I like the girl in particular. There's something a bit creepy about her as she feels clearly to old to carry a teddy-bear.
-
Excellent, Ian! :-* :-*
-
Awesome! Those are some really nice miniatures you've got going :D
-
And here are the final two figures for the time being.
They have all been delivered to Eureka Miniatures today for moulding and casting. So I should have the first casts in my hands by this time next week.
These are based on a couple of very famous spy-fi evil doers but I believe they can also fit into the pulp era.

I've painted up a couple of my new sets of figures ready to be added to my web store. Two more sets to get ready and they'll be added. Here are a couple of pics of the first painted sets.
