Nice mini's. You made me think of Peter Ustinov. :)
-
That´s a very effective and beautiful way of painting I had never thought of. I always try to blend super softly, but you proof that the opposite could work as well with the right choice of colours! :-*

Looks more like David Suchet to me. Nice painting, just a little disappointed that there was no Suggs or Chas Smash though. :)

^^^ That has made my wife happy - first record she ever bought and she'd not seen that video before. Oh and she says the hat and tache are wrong shape for David Suchet (she watches alot of Poirot - bless her).

I think it depends on the mins, I did similar things on my WWII and Wild West mins. I'm not sure if this would work on anime-like miniatures.
It's kind of what the impressionists did, when you are half an meter away from the mini the impact will be even more overwhelming.

Dynamic dawbing dude! The white shirts and the faces on the top two are ace :-*

Brilliant. Do 'Tarzan's Nuts' next...

Yes. The title caught my hipster eye.
Yes. I was also overjoyed when I saw the opening lyrics.
And yes. I enjoyed seeing the video posted.
I was however, slightly dissappointed that there were no minis with bush shirts, shorts, wearing fez's. lol

I think I can see the most imaginative use of the Perry Eighth Army figures so far, coming up. :)
