Title: 7th Voyage: Thoughts and Opinions

Hi Gang

After a classic Sinbad marathon, me and my friends are looking at starting Arabian Nights gaming, and the rule set that keeps cropping up is 7th Voyage. I've read a cracking battle report on here but I haven;t seen much in the way of reviews, maybe because it's pretty new, and also the Crooked Dice forum is locked off.

So I was just wondering if anyone here has played it and what are they're thoughts? How does the game play out and is there room for a campaign or is it one off game based? It certainly looks nice on the previews, but I always like to hear a bit of feedback before parting with my money :P

Iam long time 7TV gamer and player i got my hard back a few weeks ago and its good, the rules are as the normal high standard from CD, i likes the  way it works and on thought could be used for any fantasy setting, I will try it out  this weekend if all goes to plan and post an AAR. there enough ideas for loads of  stuff, Conan comes to mind and  great idea on the CD forum was a guy who made a Bodica cast list

If you want to join the CD Forum, then just mail us at the usual mail@ address and we'll set you up. We had to close open registration due to being spammed to bits :(

Various resources on there though including battle reports and help on Cast builds.

Cool. I haven't played an 7TV at all to be honest, but I have heard good things. I'm not sure how it plays out or how you build a force, but from what I've read it seems fast and furious, and simple to pick up, which is good for me :)

Thanks, I'll drop an email to check out the forum. I actually was too excited about the prospect of a stop motion wargame, so I've already made my order for it today. I'm already digging through my mini pile and looking at some great terrain projects to get myself ready for it...Now it's just the waiting game for it to arrive! :D
