Am looking for images (other than on their web site and the models used in the Great War rule book) of bare metal/under construction or completed models. Have 'Googled' it under every variation I can think of but the closest I get is their German Big Bertha model !
Can anyone help please, am interested to know/see how well or not it goes together.
Cheers in advance

Went together well. The axles are a bit weak. If you search under VBCW you should find pictures of mine somewhere.

I finally got around to ordering one, it arrived within a week and I'm wondering why I didnt order one sooner !
Smashing model, big and chunky and totally impracticle for wargaming purposes but I'm going to make a 'busy' looking vignette for off table artillery fire :D
I see what you mean about the weak axles, I drilled out the resin and replaced it with brass rod - sorted ! I also got the Heavy Artillery Crew, the jury is still out on if I'll use them (or convert them) but with nothing else out there to use as crew I thought I'd best get some before the range disappears for ever.
All in all a highly reccommended model.

Is something happening to HLBSC?

Whoops ! Didnt mean to start a panic and I dont have inside information - all I was thinking was that a lot of their 28mm range has disappeared over time and I vaguely remember that production of the 8" Howitzer stopped for a while so I thought I'd get them JUST INCASE they got removed from their catalogue.
Its probably taken me about 2 years to eventually get around to ordering the gun and I think I would have been gutted to find I could no longer get one !
Apologise if I got your heart racing.

That's fine :)
I will be putting an order in in the next couple of months and got a tad worried lol

His range of naval guns is also very good recommend. If you ask nicely occasionally he has his French WW1 tanks and armoured car!

I must admit I am quite taken by their Steam Tug Boat (not that I could particularly use it for WW1), possibly for Cthulhu or Pulp gaming.
The 8" Howitzer has gone together so easily that I might be tempted to get the German 'Big Bertha' Howitzer next ::)

Now that is very nice. A bit more difficult to but together but well worth it. Never used it on a gaming table but it makes a nice piece.
