Title: VSF Rules

I would like to play some VSF, but i need some rules!!
Does any of you know about any good 28mm rules that does not use cards for activation - my fellow games dont like the cards, so no cards!!

You could specify what kind of VSF games You want to play?
small skirmish ones or larger set piece battles? maybe something inbetween?

IHMN is a skirmish scale ruleset

GASLIGHT is not card activated.

There is also Valor, Steel and Flesh, based on the old Brother against Brother rules system. It is card based activation though.

And, yet, I don't think I've ever played it without card activation. Local group favors it that much.

How do they feel about initiative rolls?

FUBAR VSF is one of the best loved FUBAR variants and well worth a look at.

It's relatively cheap, and has a range of 'Weird War One' style mini's in large 28mm. Wish I could remember who makes it (buried at bottom of box at present), but they were always cheap figures.
