Title: Romanian uniforms WW1.
Post by: twiglet7 on 26 July 2013, 09:36:42 AM
Hello,

the Romanians started out with grey -green  then after the retreat to western Moldavia in 1917 had brownish-undyed uniforms.

Were these undyed uniforms  issue to  all the troops in the  newly formed 1st and 2nd armies or to certain units (infantry) or were both worn in all units ?

 Pete.

grey-green is a bit new to me
I had something closer to the french Bleu-horizon or blue grey in mind
could the brownish "undyed" uniforms have been russian?
