I was hoping someone could help me ID a couple of the helicopters used in the new film World War Z. I wanted to know what type of helo picked up Brad Pitt and his family off the rooftop in New Jersey? Also, what type of helo the Israleis were using to patrol the enclosed city?
Any help is much appreciated. :)

Havnet seen the movie but i think (judging by the trailers) that the helo pickup is a lynx or a ka 60.
And the chopper in the israeli part is an aerospatiale gazelle.

From what little can be seen in the clips I saw (retractable landing gear, nose shape, fenestron tail), I strongly suspect it is a Eurocopter Dauphin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurocopter_AS365_Dauphin).

Yup; Dauphins. Both in the rooftop rescue and the Israel scenes. But the Israeli one(s) has/have skids instead of a retractable wheeled gear.
Also, at the very start of the trailer, when the family is in the car, they see a Bell Jet Ranger through the sun roof...

I have a die cast one in 1/48 scale from new ray. It's a little big with standard figures, but makes great background terrain for zombie games:

Thanks lads. Someone over at TMP turned me on to an excellent resource called The Internet Movie Plane Database here: http://www.impdb.org/index.php?title=World_War_Z
Looks like the Israeli chopper was a hybrid of a couple of 3D models.

Kawasakie OH-1's have the fantail, too, FWIW, as do Commanches. The "pickup" copter is the Coast Guard AS365 N3+ model of Dauphin, with the truncated nose and pilot "short" windows.
Movie Stills of "pickup":
