I've had these figures sitting in the lead pile for a long time, I think my dad got them for me and my brother when we went to the Armory in Baltimore way back in the day. More pictures of regular troops at theparadeground.blogspot.com (http://theparadeground.blogspot.com)

Very nice use of those Knights! :o
I've been looking for an excuse to put those on my wish list.

They were easy to "convert". I just glued a straw/chimney to the backpack and painted the guns wood :D

I know I've some ancient blisters somewhere with them.
I suppose yet another reason to brave an expedition to the basement... :o
Don't precisely recall terminology; are those 'Crusaders'?

Those appear to be the Alternative Army Science Fiction figures? Are they?

Right; after diggin', I see not Crusaders, but 'Retained Knights', though might still be under the Crusader faction. Been a LONG time.

I called these fellas the Pistachio Heads, as I could never remember what they were called.
Great sculpts brilliantly revamped to appear in a VSF setting.
Very clever!

They could not have been designed for VSF modification any better.
I like what you did!
