Guys
Attached is The League of Extraordinary Kriegspielers first 'bespoke' campaign map, drawn by the hugely talented Iain 'V.I.' Blackwood, for our 2006 China Station campaign. This was set in 192? (we always use a ? on the last number), and involved eleven players.
Objectives were all individually written, and each player had a specific brief. Sometimes these objectives were the same, more often than not they werent, but had overlapping elements.
Movement was notional (i.e. non specific) and was controlled by the umpire. Movement periods was approximately a fortnight, but again this varied. The idea was not to allow any player to predict where exactly any other player might be at a specific time. Usually river or rail navigation was the best (as in real life at this time), and the composition of your force made a big difference (not much use having an armoured column in the foothills of the Himalayas)
It worked a treat. I have all the individual briefs for the campaign which I will circulate at the right time (Prof?).

I mean, Iskander campaign?
-
And yes, the eagle eyed amongst you will notice a mistake in one of the names - Ulan Bator was called 'Urga' at this time......

Iskander photos are not the best. We fought indoors in deepest Italian winter, so the light was lousy. I'll have a search.
-
Wow I can wait to see more .
please tell me more about the campaign and the rules you use .
thanks Grimm

Still trying to re-trace steps to Skull Island - much better prepared this time - NO SURPRISES! (dino hides will fetch a small fortune on the mainland - and they are much easier and safer to move!)
