Bit more work on the trunk tonight.

Need to get the detail finished in the inner part of the trunk before working on the branches.
Not sure what i will use for foliage.
So far I only have one forest dweller: Fair Rita the fairy. Here is a slightly out of date photo, which i had previously posted on FOD, but I am quite pleased with her so here she is again:

Nice work. Can't suggest foliage, but will watch with interest how this progresses.

Thanks von Lucky. Did a bit more work getting the main branches into shape tonight. Will have a more deternmined effort at it in September after I am back from holidays. It is quite relaxing just shaping modelling clay into organic shapes- requres almost no precision, just sort of going with the flow.

Nice painting and basing on the fairy - she's an Otherworld figure, isn't she?
trees look like they will be amazingly atmospheric too!

Thanks Momotaro. Yes she is the -nymph from the set of three- nymph, sylph and dryad, by Otherworld.
