Just finished painting and mounting the trophies today..... :D

Nice looking trophies!!!  :-* I was wondering if any LAFers would be making it to MOAB... It seems there will be.

I've never been to a convention before but MOAB is ridiculously close, so I may come along. Any high lights to look out for? Any day better than the others? Are there other LAF Sydney events?

should be a number of LAFers at Moab, at least 6 I know of.

Saturday is best IMO

Highlights
the bring and buy (be there early to get the best deals)
painting comp
traders
good looking demo games
lots of nicely painted armies

I'll be going on the Sunday for the Roman Games extravaganza.

I'm going to demo Blood on the Sands for a couple of gladiator aficionados.

Really ope to see some Aussie LAF'ers there.

Thanks Blue, sounds fun. Do you need to bring something to trade to be in the 'bring and buy'? Or can you just buy other peoples odds and sods?

bring anything you may want to sell, otherwise just bring  lot of cash!!!!

I will be playing in the Impetus tourney, I normally run a demo or participation game though, first time playing a comp game in 15 years!

It's been some time between tourneys for quiet a few, I don't think any of the guys are particularly competition players from what I can tell....so should make for a fun couple of days...and hopefully a few unexpected outcomes  :o
