Title: Linear anti-tankette defences
Post by: Vanvlak on 29 August 2013, 09:08:49 AM
Because tanks would get over these!
These resulted from the rescue of what appears to be plaster or white cement which was packed between the wall on a small veranda at home and a sort of wooden awning which we had to replace - when we pulled them off the bits remained reasonably intact, and they looked like some sort of ditch, so...

Here's the how to:
Step 1 - remove an awning or other fixture, taking care not to damage any material used in a vague attempt at sealing the space between it and the wall it is fixed to. That's the easy bit  ;D
Step 2 - mount on thin foam board - I used PVA which seems to have worked well.
Step 3 - paint, flock, finish (still to be done).

The grey length was a test paint piece which did not work too well.
The Turkish gentleman is a Foundry 28mm from the Crimean war range, for scale.
