Good evening gentlemen thankyou for the kind words and interest in my project as per previous post :) After seeing the works and being a follower of chaps like Mr Hindley, Painterman, and Captain Blood, to name just a few, Im just glad they they past the early stages :)

Mr Captain Blood, thanks, I must admit others have said they look impressionistic I think its the watery effect of the paint and with no clear outlines, yep they look good at a distance  and also if you squint when looking at them too lol

Ah yes, some lovely colour combos there. Maroon and white stripes is one of my personal faves. I have quite a few figures from all sorts of periods in that particular rig  :D

(People who find it difficult coming up with colour combos that work for miniatures painting, could do a lot worse than look at soccer and rugby strips from clubs across the world - there's no shortage of striking and well-worked livery colours to be had there... )

These really are quite superb. Very lovely work. If I was open to the high Middle Ages, I would be very inspired to try to emulate you (probably very badly!).
