Nick, hence the quote ;)
You've been kinder with the rules than I would have been >:D
-
oh, man, now You are tempting me....
how about the anarchist intelectual kind? ;)
-
Lovely. :D
These are going to end up as a lynch mob in my Old West town though...
-

Can I direct you to this extract from The Brick Lane Commune article on the IHMN blog:
"Often at their side is a Political Commissar. A relatively well-educated young man or woman who has learned their dogma at the feet of one of the giant thinkers of the revolution. They go into battle reading aloud from political tracts to encourage the revolutionaries."
You can find the full article here: http://inhermajestysname.wordpress.com/2013/03/02/the-brick-lane-commune/

Very nice. I'm looking forward to shooting these down.

THX
and I also saw the Lenin like figure
I meant something like scrawny students and lean, hungry scholar types
Your beatiful figures are more the labourer Anarchist type
-
Fan-bleedin'-tastic :-*
Hes got a book. He must be intellectual ;)
Any plans for a gang of scuttlers or hooligans?
-

That's the description of the brick lane gathering from the book I believe. Besides, that's the look from Ripper Street ;)
-
Brilliant!
a Cadre of the Commune is led by a Working Class Hero
Haa!!
I wouldn't have called the intellectual a Commissar though. That's so 20th century communism! :D
But for the rest a very nice background story.
The girl with the mollies is lovely.
I should rewatch Peter Watkins' La Commune now.

I am not complaining about the brick lane gang, I am asking for more ;)

Ah, well in that case, I'd like more of all the 'basics' from the different sets. He's not listened yet though, just mumbles something about deadlines and sculptors time with schedules, generally followed by 'too much bloody stuff' and 'gamers are never happy' ::) lol
-
well, maybe some expansion packs when he's through with the schedule for the starter boxes
I can be patient
-
Lovely stuff! :-*
-
...gave these desperate men a cause to fight for – class war! Though poorly armed and equipped the Brick Lane Anarchists make up for it in numbers and hate.
Lovely description! lol
-
nice pics, but too late
I'm working on my socialist band, using brigade games "gangs of NY" and some eureka pax limpopo
nanarchists with pram .
-
Lovely. :D

I fully concur with that aspiration brother Ray 8)
-
I love these figures- very useful for lots of things. I can see me using them as a militia force for VBCW (well maybe not the ladies, but certainly most of the menfolk).
very good stuff indeed!
-
Perry's ACW rioters are also worth a look (and a lot cheaper).
-
yeah !!! real workingclass heros ,I think I find my gang for IHNM 8)
Bullshott says Vet nice. I'm looking forward to shooting these down
Bullshott you know I will bring them to the BLAM >:D
Grimm

And together we shall sing The International as you emerge victorious!! lol
-
'Perry's ACW rioters are also worth a look (and a lot cheaper).'
Nah, they are rubbish, too early and too wee. And I'll tell those Perry twins that to their face, you see if I won't >:(
lol lol

Yes, well, a certain game author poo-poo'd my suggestion that Nick would follow up with more companies for JUST those reasons, and see what we have here? Oh, Craig, ye of little faith! lol
Or did you mean singles from the sets... ;)

Well, left over females could be a cadre for militant anti-war protesters, right? Lysistrata 1938 w/ fire bombs?

Are they sculpted on a computer or something?
The image sort of looks like it?

Nope, Mike Owen sculpts done with normal greenstuff I believe.
Or did you mean singles from the sets... ;)
No, singles are a pain to deal with for a company. Blisters of the basics from the boxes would be a start but really I want more Tong and Incorrigible figures :)
I appreciate the money needs to be made back on what's been done already though to show it's worth doing more, but I want some lol

You're just getting greedy now Dean. More Incorrigible figures? What kind of force are you making - Lord Curr's Battalion? lol
-

Ah.. OK. Was just about to say that they were the first computer sculpts I ever liked. lol

Ah, of course. Well, closer to what I meant, than the 'make new figs to match' I thought you might have been trying for. Now THAT would had him mumbling something fierce, no? lol
Ah.. OK. Was just about to say that they were the first computer sculpts I ever liked. lol
Oh, gawd, I know TOO WELL how that would have hurt! Glad to see you saved from that! lol

I wouldn't rule it out ;) I just love the Incorrigible figures, they are fantastic armed Victorian figures, suitable for almost any use you can think of in the VSF world. Reference for more is easy too, just watch the bank robbery episode from Ripper Street.

I wonder how they would mix with Musketeer Minis Inter war ranges? Seems like a lot of the VBCW and IWI figures would be suitable.
-
I would think they would. I love Mike Owens sculpts and have used loads of his Artisan Designs stuff with my VBCW- mixing it with Black Tree Designs, Bolt Action and Musketeer- I never have found much of a problem.

Shipped on Thursday.

Mine arrived this morning.
Ta Nick. :D

I read yesterday that both Lenin and Trotsky were in London in 1901. Food for thought ...

They were indeed, that may have influenced the suggestion for the gentleman waving a book :~)
