Hi everyone!
Actually, that's just a teasing. I've been developing with some friends since an year an aeronef ruleset, and we're now in the betatesting phase. Some dear fellas here on LAF are already helping me fixing some little bugs and correcting the manual, but we're at a good point.
I've spent a few hours coding a card-formatter, and now with a few clicks i can make ready-to-play cards!
Here's an example, some British air goodies!

The game uses the brilliant idea from Leviathans, and the cards will be plastified, in order to be used as whiteboards to note damages or effects, thus they have to be quite large. Since a normal game involves half a dozen ships in total, that size is perfect to add color on bot sides of the tabletop without over-encumbering the playing area!
Moreover, the manual is around 30 pages, with ship creation rules and images to explain the various phases of the game, and all the mechanics. here's an example:

For more informations about the game or for betatesting purposes, i'd say drop me a pm!
Cheers
Jack

Like the graphics on the cards, very striking - and the reusable wipe-off type are always a good idea - simplifies bookkeeping and reduces the need for counters.
GL with the rules.

Thanks Dr!
We're currently developing a complete manual, and meanwhile...

Really neat and stylish :o
Need more close-ups on the ships, pretty please :D

Nice and stylish, though it looks like you got a whole lot going on! lol Also, can you rename the game "Big Cards, Small Ships"? :D
-
Sounds interesting. What nations will be covered?

there's a thread for those ships... actually they're pretty old, and i'm going to do new ones - better sculpted - in the near future!

Why not... and more cards will be printed! :D
On the other hand, a fleet of eight ships is a really rare case, usually only three-four ships per side shall be used!
Sounds interesting. What nations will be covered?
At the moment, we're just using Britain and Germany (setting: 1909), but we're now planning to use other factions as well.
Actually, there's no real difference between factions: just the card background, and different models, eventually! About the models, we're now focusing on Germany and Britain, but we need to find a company to produce them after having a few ready, otherwise they will remain for our brushes only! =(

Fiiiiiigo :D

Fiiiiiigo :D
For non-ex-roman-empire-language-speakers: it means "coooool"
(probably in Latin it should be said "vulvicus!")
Same city, Banderium! Wanna try a match?
EDIT:
I am now resculpting the original Medium British ship, all the weapons will be plugged in with joints. They are meant to be glued, actually, but still it's an easier approach.
On the other side, i'll have to manage a bivalve mold. But that's my problem, afterall
And also a small one has been sculpted. I'm not sure it will be the final model, but i kinda like it.

Jack has been gracious to me for some time to allow me a look at his WIP.
I've not been much help yet, but once I get over my block on firing, I've been planning on taking smaller Leviathan ships, and putting them on single hex bases to give this a run, not that I couldn't proxy some of my 'nefs here.
I can personally attest to both his patience AND enthusiasm for the project. As a failed rules writer, I know how important a balance of both, especially for the treatment of playtesters, can be. ;)

Thanks Doug! your help is a great support (also motivational) for my work!
Meanwhile, i've added some weapons to the 3d models. Those will be cast separately, but i wanted to take a look at them while equipped. I'm not convinced by the look of the small ship, yet, but i'll work on it!

here is another idea i had, and i tried to model it. At the moment i'm still not very convinced, as a friend of mine suggested, the top tower could be an hexagonal glass dome with a central chimney, very victorian!

any suggestion and impression is really appreciated!
and again, if anyone is interested in beta testing... just pm me!

Hi everyone! It has been a while but...
The 3ds are now printed, and the first casts are being done!
here's a sneak pic of the small ship! :)

the model will have a resin hull, but all the details (weapons, chimneys..) will be directly done in FUD, 3d printed.

more pics will follow soon!
