I managed to get a small warband of the old pre-slotta Citadel Hobgoblins painted up at the weekend. They have been in my lead pile for decades but have finally been given a bit of pigment to bring them to life.

good job! love those old school mimis

Great results there.
Must through a wash or two at my old Ral Partha orcs - painted them about 25 years ago (shade, base colour and highlight method) and the wash could have a similar result.

The Lads may be Old, but thy're new to moi...a lot of the older Citadel minis never made it across the Pond. They certainly have a lot of personality, which your brushwork brought out quite nicely. VERY WELL DONE!
