Title: Tecala Rescue (Force on Force AARs)
Post by: Donogh on 12 September 2013, 09:41:52 PM
I wrote up this scenario - based on the climatic rescue scene from Proof of Life the other side of summer. I ran it twice at Hobocon, a local Dublin games convention a couple of weekends ago.

Terry Thorne, a Kidnapping and Ransom specialist  and a small hand-picked team (Dino’s Panama crew) mount a snatch and grab mission to rescue Bowman and another hostage, Calitri.

Downtown 2 & 3 overlook the barracks and Peter's house. They'll move down to rescue him, while Terry is on overwatch

Most of the rebels are engrossed in a game of football on the parade ground, they're completely unsuspecting of the attack

Of course, I ran the same scenario a second time that day

This time, Thorne is trusted with acting like a ninja to make the rescue

But those rebels are closing in...

Nice AARs. I find scenario writing difficult at times, because what you think is balanced, can become a one-sided blood bath at conventions.

What an excellent movie...I read the thread title and thought "Wait a second, is that...". :D  Awesome stuff.
