That's gorgeous! The red bike is a nice touch!
-
Nice work Piers.
Cheers,
Helen
-
Really nice - agree about the bike, that's perfect!
-
Very nice, :o 8) the bike really added a very nice touch, good contarst to the dull green!
-
Nice pair! ;D
-
Excellent work Piers, the liberated bike is a really nice touch.
-
Lovely!
-
Bike for me does it too. What green did you use?
-
I mix all my own colours using Tamiya acrylics.
I do this as I tend to use three to four shades. This one was a mix of Nato Black, Olive Green and Flat Yellow. Then its heavily filtered to change the colour.
I have some WIP pics that show just how different the colour started out as.
-
Thanks - I think it is the additional yellow which has added a nice tone to the pair.
-
Superb, as always!
-
Great work. Well done.
-
Wonderful work. Love the textures AND the colours.
How'd you manage the armour weathering? Looks almost like an oil wipe, but you said you'd used acrylics?
-
I would love a tutorial too. This'd is exactly how I would like my 15mm stuff to look.

Fantastic work :-* :-* :-* :-*

Superb work. I have never been able to get armour to look armour. Your tanks look made of metal. Love to see your WIP shots and any tips you fancy sharing would be a bonus.

I have some wip pics...

I have some wip pics...
Ok, that's the second time you have tempted us with a mention of WIP pics... Bring'em on already. ;D
Inspiration is an impatient mistress.

Its just that my WW2 WIP pics go in my yearly 20mm WW2 WIP thread... That is now up to 28 pages...

Think they start around page 25...

Yum!

Just checked out your WW2 thread. Mind boggling in both quantity and quality.

Hello V,
very nice tanks - I have to think about the painting of my russian tanks - maybe I need more courage to colour.

... I´m using the same bikes! (on this Command Tank III - for example)
