I got my second box of Sedition Wars minis in today and cleaned and assembled the THI suit and the Gnosis Armour. I haven't had the negative experience that some folks seem to have and really enjoyed building them and can't wait to paint them. I posted some more images on my blog so please have a look.

I have no vested interest in that project (didn't KS it, don't intend to own it). Those look incredibly soft-detailed though. Is that as good as it gets? I'm glad you didn't have any issues with the material though.

No joke. I'm about to pack up a box with return postage prepaid so he can enjoy cleaning mine. He gets the entertainment and I'll get cleaned minis!
Heck, I won't even charge him!
:D

Nice Suit. Yes, it looks a little soft, but... I have to say I'm still glad I backed the KS. What with the price vs the sheer number of figs I was going to get/did get, I figured there'd be some snags and elbow grease involved.
End of the day, I got a bucketload of pretty cool figs. Some fast and dirty pjs, get 'em on the table, you won't have a snit when someone knocks one off the table or snaps an arm. It's not like they're my best or only figs, after all.

With you on that.
You have to post them when they're painted though!

I took a couple of hours today and painted the THI suit. Although I still think there has been some overreaction against the material these minis are made from I can honestly say now that I'm not in love with the stuff. After painting there are still a ton of moldlines visible even though I didn't see them before it was primed. This is disappointing since I really like the design of this suit.
I'm still not unhappy with my decision to support the Sedition Wars Kickstarter but I also wish that this material was easier to deal with. C'est la guerre.

I don't think the mould lines are all that obvious tbh. At normal gaming range, you wouldn't notice them, I think. Nice painting though.
