Title: Introduction from a new comer based in Australia

I have been interested in military history and modelling for in excess of forty years.  As can be expected when I recently moved my baggage train was quite extensive.

My main interests, at present, include DBA Ancients, ACW, in which, I still prefer Fire and Fury.  Both of these I game in 15mm.  I have more recently become interested in skirmish wargaming using the SAGA, Ronin and IHMN sets of rules in 28mm.

I also possess a passing interest in the Interwar period and in particular the fine contribution made by Solway Miniatures publications relating to a Very British Civil War.

Like the majority of gamers, I enjoy reading and have always possessed an interest in the books written by Arthur Conan Doyle, hence my user name.

I look forward to learning from all the other contributors to this fine forum.

Well welcome to the forum. I too have a lot of DBA in 15mm and ACW too. Most of the rest of my stuff is in 28mm. Look forward to seeing some of your collections.
