Tough! I guess the arab in the centre tipped the balance for me
-
Close one, but the white on the arabs is stunning :)
Where are the arabs from?
-
Another tough decision. both are lovely, but the pink lady makes the difference!
-
Arabs are by Brigade, from their Gallipoli/Mesopotamia range. Actually, I think all the figures are. The lady in pink is from the "Daughters of the Desert" line of Brigade Adventurers.

Thanks Pete

Hi Guys,
Lovely work from the both of you. I do love both, but need to hand the winning ticket over to the Arabs. I've about 30 Brigade Game Arabs and they are somewhere in the queue to be painted this year. You have given me some fresh ideas for painting them, thankyou.
The arab with the pistol I converted and had him holding a 303.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I wish there were more variation in the Arabs (which is probably just another way of saying that Lon needs to commision a second set of them), so I'd love to see a picture of your conversion.
On that 'variation' note; anyone know of a classic Lawrence of Arabia mini?

Hi,
Please look at the link below for my conversions of the BG Arabs with pistol. Battle-Honours do a Lawrence in their WW1 Middle-East Battalion Command pack. Sorry, I gave mine to Poly. Don't worry though Bill at Musketeer miniatures is designing a Lawrence and I imagine that Mike Owen of Artizan in conjunction with Lon at Brigade Games will be designing one for the Arab Revolt range.

Thanks for the pic. I especially like the one holding the sword.
-
Excellent colour and basing on the Bersiglieri, but the Arabs are beautiful.
Nice conversions Helen, I'll be nicking that idea :D
-
Both excellent entries and very well painted but the Jihad wins for me...i need to get my hands on some of those Arab figures...

Italians in shorts & floppy hats - what's not to love?
