Title: Quick Review: 'Dropzone Commander' 2-player Starter Set
Post by: Ferb on September 27, 2013, 10:28:09 AM
Hi all,
I've got my set early, thanks Firestorm Games, and I've done a quick review of the contents (http://ferbsfightingforces.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/quick-review-dropzone-commander-2.html) plus a look at how well the plastic models go together.

Those pieces actually look better than the resin ones I've seen - less mouldlines and mismatch (obviously due to the different parts breakup and production process).

Not sure if it will get me interested in the game, but very interesting, thanks!

Does look good, I'd have been tempted if they hadn't put Scourge in it.

Quality looks excellent on the plastic stuff...though I still have ZERO interest in the actual game itself.  My biggest gripe is that I think several of the races are really garbage designs (including the Scourge in this box).  That in effect ruins the entire game for me.  :'(

Nice review, and it looks like a very reasonable box if you're interested in the game.
