With all the interest in Pulp Trucks of late I thought to show scale pics of my latest acquisition, a 1939 Chevy Pick Up Truck by Lledo. It scales to my eye around 1/50ish which is my sweet spot for 28mm gaming vehicles. The barrels lift out for further gaming utility. I picked this up from ebay for $7 including S&H.

What I like is that this one has the stylish radiator grill cover of the late 30's Detroit deco styling!
It maybe a bit upscale for the boonies, but just the thing for our well heeled Hero's or that evil Oil Company Exec.

Pretty cool, I think I am going to start hitting up evil bay for some of those die cast autos.

Go for it Moody, but be careful with the scale of them. The LLedo and Matchbox Yesteryear cars are built at box scale, meaning they fit the box. Most of the Lledo trucks are too small for me, but other folks think they're just right. There are plenty of topics on LAF to help find the scale of the most popular ones for gaming. I find if a vehicle is about 1 1/2" wide, then I'll be happy with it.
Good luck.

Nice find! On average the Lledo stuff seems to be a little less expensive than Models of Yesteryear, but still looks decent.

I like that pick-up, I'll have to look for one, thanks. ;)
