I've re-invigorated an old project and have finally finished the first of the Terminators... a Chaos Warsmith:

There is all sorts of stuff and other images here:

There will obviously be much more to come but I have to get on with things first :).

There is something very comic book about that guy, largely to do with the restricted palette.
He looks cool and an army of them is going to look even better :)

Hmm... . Do I see 'truescale' work there? Most interesting :). Cracking work!

This reminds me how much I hate the Chaos miniatures. lol Nice brushwork though!

Nice tru-scale gs' ing Inso. :D

Oh. Nice :-*

It's an excellent sculpt from a professional standpoint, but the Chaos "design motif" always makes me chuckle. It's just so absurdly "designed by a 7 year old". Spiky bits and comical amounts of skulls etc. I have a hard time finding any aesthetic value in them. To be fair I guess they're better than Jem and her noise marines from earlier editions! lol

Raelly big and nice guy!

Good stuff! I must remember to paint up some more chaos when I get home again.
And he looks BIG :o

Guys who game in "true scale" --- do you guys use the various consumer based modifications to portray Marines properly? I know they used to have rules for playing Space Marines as they appear in the fluff (ie. 5 marines against 100 orks etc.). Or is it solely for modeling amusement?

I don't game at all... these are just to keep me busy :)

I really like what you have done here so far, there is a great vibe of "walking tank" from that model which is quite apt and I quite appreciate the understated chaotics. Now to have a trawl through the rest of you stuff....
