Dear Helen,
In a local auction catalogue, where you can find some interesting photos etc material for WW1, WW2 and balkan wars I found one interesting postcard.
Legend translates: "German naval arillery alongwith turks fire against the mixed English and French fleet at Dardanelles"

item lot 3152
Hope you like

Not Helen (of course), but I wanted to thank you for this link. Cool stuff in there. Would you mind translating all the rest of them as well? :D

Dear Mancha,
All 4000 lots??? impossible
-
Dear Mancha and all,
If you need a specific translation for something I can do, the whole catalogue impossible.

What's the translation for the armored train in lot 3155?
-
exactly is says: armoured train with guns
-
it is from WW1 era war 1915-1918. It seems to me something like Japanese
Unfortunately no further data
-
All 4000 lots???
That's asking too much, huh? :D
I love the hat in Lot 3347. And the juxtaposition of the gun and tights in Lot 3341 makes me grin too.
Thanks again for the link.
