Hi all,
Quick one really,
24 figure French 28mm Newline Figures, painted to sell hopefully at SELWG.
6 bases of 4 inc flank companies. For Grenadier/ Black Powder etc
4 bases of 6, integral flank coys. For RoE/ Maurice etc
Any advice welcome, been a while since I sold any Napoleonics as I had a few units nicked at Newbury a few years back, usually only sell skirmish stuff or Ancients in 24 figure units.
Cheers Shaun

I find Napoleonics on here to be as popular as a dead cat in your bed, which is quite a shame, if I had noticed I would of suggested individual 20x20 basing, it allows the figures to be used in any system, I was considering this as I was going to do as you, I wanted to paint and sell stuff, but judging by how dead naps is, well.

I didn't reply because my Napoleonic figures will be 3 mm when I am done...
Locally, the 25+ mm players use different sized bases because they use different [read that as "incompatible"] rules sets.
Gracias,
Glenn

I would base a 24 man battalion as 4 x 4man base and 4x2man base. It lets you make any type of formation including square.

Only just seen the post...
40mm x 40mm bases 4 figures. Skirmish line - Lights -Voltiguers, Grenadiers on 40 x 20 in 2s
Hope its not too late an answer

Personally, I would take them unbased and sell them that way.
Pretty much every unit of painted figures I buy I have to rebase.
JMHO

Hi guys,
Went with 30x40 deep bases, 4 figures per base, 6 bases per unit... Seemed to do the trick as thy march straight off the table and generated a painting order for Austrians.
I actually sold 12 units in all, mostly Ancients and generated a potential 3 more commissions plus a chance to paint some bits for Sean a Newline.... So all in all a good day
Roll on Warfare next month :)
