Title: Sally 4th: Warchest Storage Box Reviewed!
Post by: Belgian on 07 October 2013, 03:09:35 PM
I have just finished this review of the sally 4th Warchest Storage Box and thought it would be interesting for wargamers looking for a good storage method. Interested in this review containing assembly information and pictures of the entire set? Take a look here over at Wargame News and Terrain.

So are you finding the bases are still getting stuck?

This seems like reasonable cost storage for miniatures such as spearmen who may not fit in foam very well.

Thanks for the review.  I hadn't come across them before but now I am liking the idea of the Warchest especially for storing my ECW army with its pikes. Since they are stackable with various figure bases they can fit almost any basing style.

Hi, They are certainly most suitable for these pesky pikes as they are available in a nice assortment of heights.

On the remark of the bases, I have contacted the owners over at Sally 4th and they told that the tight fit was needed to avoid the miniatures to fall over in the box. Understandable and although a tigh fit, they still fit so no problem at all  ;)

I like them but because I have over 20 KR Multicase boxes and no pikes I put these down on the "to be remembered for the future" list.

Very nice.

Gracias,
