I have recently finished this review of the new Wargames Factory World War Two Russians in summer gear and thought it would be interesting for wargamers looking to start a Soviet force for Bolt Action or other games systems. The quality of these miniatures is good and they are easy to assemble. Interested in pictures of all the sprues, some assembled miniatures, scale comparison and other information? Please visit my full review over at Wargame News and Terrain (WNT)

Nice review! Though I'm not interested in Russians, I do think they look reall quite nice. Nicely sculpted. Thanks Belgian!

Agree totally, I bought a box when they came out and they are excellent.

Nice review, thanks for sharing. Actually, the figures look pretty decent. Have you painted up some yet?

Wow, wargames factory really are going strong, I remember their first releases were rubbish, but these WWII soldiers and survivors and samurai have really impressed

They certainly have been improving the quality of the miniatures in both the amount of detail, poses and amount of extra bits your receive.
@Mad Doc Morris: I haven't painted them yet but hope to finish them within this decade for testing out Bolt Action. ;)
Cheers

Doesn't Warlord Games has a plastic or metal boxed set of them?
@The Dozing Dragon: I don't have any of the plastic Warlord WWII miniatures so can't say if they would match.
-
Warlord has plastic US Marines out soon, they also have a nice metal range, as do Brigade Games.

TAG not do pacific marines? ???

I think there are several companies that do marines, but wasn't there a large US Army presence in the Pacific as well? Someone told me that they're under-represented in miniatures.

Indeed, especially if they manage plastic Japanese who aren't based off racist cartoons as a point of reference.
Mods: stop deleting the comment, I'm entitled to my opinion which has been shared by many and is true, your throbbing one for warlord be damned.

Wargames Factory really are starting to produce some great looking stuff!
Hope they go back to their earlier crappy releases and re-do them one day.
