VERY nice! I'm goofing around with my Romulans at the moment for my Dominion Wars build. Mostly just washes and detail painting. But I really like the gray tone you've done here!

How is this game, by the way ? Do you have a capitol navy ships feeling (sort of speak), or a space fighters feeling ?

Those window lights on the Galaxy class are excellent. Furthermore, I like the slightly darker greys as compared to the original designs.

If you've played X-Wing, then you can pick this game up almost instantly. The mechanics are nearly identical. But I would say that the strategy is different because the ships do play more like large gun boats than fleet and nimble fighters. The ships themselves also feel more individualized, and there is a different relationship between the ships and their captain/pilot. Have you ever wanted to have Picard or Kirk run a Klingon or Romulan ship? In total I think there are 9 or 11 factions planned. I'll focus on the Big 3 and maybe one other.
I have both games, and a ton of ships, but while I own about 7 Tie Fighters, I cant see myself buying more than 3 or maybe 4 of any one ship, and the only example I can think of is the D-7 battlecruiser. None of the others ships are worth more than 2, and most only one copy. This estimation may change with more plays, but my local Dominion Wars game in 2 weeks with be the 2 Romulan ships from the base set (I bought 2) and the large battleship in Wave 0.

I personally prefer this to X-wing, as shown by the fact I have played both systems, but have brought the attack wing starter (sold the romulan, brought a Miranda and a D7 today), something about the mechanics just work better for me personally, little touches like having more customisation, reloading torps, cloaking etc etc, and I am a bigger fan of star trek personally.

Really nice repaints - you have a steady hand there :)

Beautiful stuff! And I don't even like Trek. lol

Nice job! Might look into this game, I do like Trek and the mechanics of X-Wing (for which a bit of extra depth for the Trek version will be good)
Have WizKids done their usual "Let's not scale things right" thing? I mean, no one expects it to be perfect, but what I love about X-Wing is that next to the Falcon, an X-Wing is suitably small, etc...
