Just like to post some pictures of the new stage coach kit, just finished...
Arcane Scenery have them in stock so thought I would have a go.
Rolls on top are Green Stuff, the 1s at the windows are cut from Victrix French ruck sacks.
Also the NEW Gypsy Caravans... Cat Baloo is coming to town... with the Girls.
And the Old West Wagon.
Hope you like em.

awesome love colors mine i wont paint hehehheh i do want the other wagon now, very nice work

Those gypsy caravans would be good for Gothic Horror, VSF, Pulp, WWII (partisans!), etc. Nice!

Exactly what I was thinking, sir!
Great minds, eh?
:D
Whilst I do like the caravans, I am not sure about the stage coach, which looks a little too 'flat' to me.
Good idea with the embellishments, they certainly help.

We do seem to do that quite a bit! lol
I had the exact same thought about the stagecoach, believe it or not. It just seems to need a bit of additional relief around the sides and doors. I have been looking out for a cheap Dixon one but no luck yet (I hear they aren't the easiest to assemble either) so if the price is ok on this I may get one and try and add a bit of additional detail. I realise there is a limit you can take these kits to before the costs start to outstrip resin and metal, so it's entirely understandable.

Wow! I'm really impressed those look great. I'll definitely be picking some of those up.
-
I'm kinda torn, because I suspect 4Ground will have one as well. Then again maybe not given the small nature of DMH (seems like a smaller scale on-foot game if I'm not mistaken). The Stagecoach is lovely though...may just have to grab one.
-
So 2 burning questions at this point. I see the freight wagon up on the Sarissa site but not the rest. When can we expect them to hit the website? And who makes those standing horses?
-
I was just about to ask the same things... Can't find the stage or caravans on the Sarissa site, nor on Arcane Scenery's site or ebay shop.
-
Lovely work!
I can't find the Stage Coach and the Gypsy wagons on the web site- Are they out yet?
-
Sarissa is always good about emailing you a paypal quote, since they have a lot of stuff that's not on their page (they're re-doing it I guess?). Same thing goes for scales, where they have both lines of 25mm and Heroic in all of their buildings. May be worth an email to them.
-
I wonder who makes the horses for these?
-
Thanks for the feedback etc.
The figures in the pictures are Foundry, so 25mm, but there is an Artizan figure in shot on my March Attack Face Book Page...
Horses are Dixons.
The Gypsy Caravans are sized so figures can be put inside so are a little 'large' for Horses... Well for the Dixons ones a they are 25mm../
Prices. If Im wrong, sorry, but email them to check, are £7.50 each. The kits are all sorted with instructions.
Arcane Scenery has them all ready to go on Ebay and soon on their web site.
Sarissa is updating to a new web page, bare with them as it will have a much better interface etc.
Thanks

Really nice.
-
I love those caravans. Really good work on the whole lot!
-
Gary, for that price for the stagecoach I'll be getting one. I doubt I'll be able to resist the caravans either!
-
Lovely stage coach and gypsy wagons. Just ordered the stage coach from Arcane Scenery's eBay store.
-
Gotta say, theres a hearse too... all ready, but I for got to get a kit at derby... same cost as the coach, it has a coffin too.
-
Now that's a nice bit of kit
-
Definitely need to pick up a couple of these (or at least one). Unfortunately there is no cheap way to do that stateside... :'(

PM me if you want me to buy you one (or some) and send them to you.
:D

No thanks boss. It's just a 7 pound item isn't worth even 5-10 pounds international shipping. Unfortunately I don't know that I could put together enough Sarissa stuff to warrant the purchase. I can cope, besides I'm tired of painting damn horses...and cowboys for that matter!
-
Those gypsy wagons (and the rumoured hearse!) are, once again, items that could be fun in eras & places well outside the Old West!
This is why I visit the Old West forum, to shamelessly plunder ideas and take them away to the genres and eras I game in...

Yes, indeed! We can definitely use those gypsy wagons. :D
-
Beautiful stage coach! Looks just the trick.
-
Warbases may have just done one too.
And they are currently looking for other wagon designs that other people don't have.
-
I shall certainly be investing in the stagecoach for my Wild West Town. With a few boxes and bales (Ainsty Castings spring to mind) on top and the addition of a driver (Empress) and horses (any) it will make a great scenario driver - Indians robbing the stage, Stagecoach and Wells Fargo options spring to mind as well as Calamity Jane. ::) Sing along now "O the Deadwood stage is coming on over the hill" . Hands up who wants to be Doris Day?
lol
Yeehah!!

Great work. Wish they had stuff like this in th U.S.
-
They have plenty of lasercut stuff, but not many of the UK lasercut shops have good solid distributors in the US. They'd make a killing if they could land it on some place like Warstore or something (but then they'd struggle to keep up with production!).
Tri-City Laser is a US based company, and they sell from Knuckleduster.com, but they don't have wagons etc.
-
Sarissa Precision Hearse now available through Arcane on Ebay - (treadhead 2004 on ebay trader name) and will probably be available soon on their site...
I want 1 ...

Great work. Wish they had stuff like this in th U.S.
I've done one order from Sarissa to Canada, and it was fast and simple, got the box full of laser-cut building goodness in about ten days. Free shipping worldwide on any order over 50UKP, too.
Less useful if you just want one small thing, of course, but that's always the issue with mailorder. I just committed a good chunk of my annual hobby budget to a good size order of buildings I knew I'd get a huge amount of use out of.
-
Yep, I find most of the places in the UK have excellent international shipping rates...I buy all of my Sarissa/4Ground/Black Scorpion/Great Escape Games stuff there, because it ends up being cheaper than buying it stateside at retailers.
However...as mentioned I don't need 50 ps worth of stuff at the moment.
-
I have a hearse kit...
Painted with matte black primer, and coated with spray gloss... Simples. I know it needs more elegant horses with plumes, but I dont have any.
Hope you like it.
-
Damn... these carts/wagons/coaches really made me change my mind about this laser-cut thing. At least for these it really works.
Thanks for sharing, y'all! Order placed. :)
-
FINALLY, some proper gypsy caravans! I'm so getting these! :)
Thanks a lot for sharing! Wonderful stuff!

Just ordered mine.

I need to get my hands on a stage coach and maybe a hearse too!!!
