Title: (QUESTION) Captain America Vehicles
Post by: von der Tann on 12 October 2013, 05:20:01 PM
Does anyone know of a manufacturer who does 28mm vehicles based on the "new" Captain America movie?

Having been forced to watch that movie recently, I wondered if there is someone out there who has come to the same conclusion, that some of the vehicles are pretty awsome looking.
I am talking in particular of the <a href="http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr229/BloodRavens/CaptainAmerica_DanielSimon_B_Coupe_01_zps34e4477b.jpg>HYDRA car, <a href="http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr229/BloodRavens/Light_armoured_vehicle_zps33c6b312.jpg>HYDRA light armored vehicle and the <a href="http://i486.photobucket.com/albums/rr229/BloodRavens/CaptainAmerica_DanielSimon_B_Sub_02_zpsa2374743.jpg>HYDRA submarine.

Yes, I know ... it is a bit leaning to the evil side. But what can I do, if Holywood gives all the nice and shiny toys to the bad guys????

EDIT: Maybe someone with the skills and background decides to produce some -there have been so many kickstarters around lately, one more wouldn't hurt- if so, count me in. :D

Sorry, I didn't say that because of the movie, I was thinking that you were talking about Avengers movie, last captain america appearance, and I didn't remember any significant car or vehicule in it, just a few SUV and stuff like that.

Now that I clicked on your links (I didn't noticed that it was links) I remember these vehicules, wich are, I agree, uber cool  :-*

No problem - I should have made it more obvious that those were links :-)

I loved the movie, and thought it was a ton of fun.

The costumes, designs, and characters were very cool.

If you were after a waterline Hydra sub, might be worth looking for a cheap naboo fighter and seeing if you could cobble something together.

I have seen some 1:48 and 1:50 scale WWII tanks here and there you might be able to convert. You might also consider messing around with some of the old GI Joe tanks

They will be on the larger side, but they are funky looking like the Hydra vehicles.
